CarCrashlander
Hey, whatever happened to Desert City Soundtrack? If you like awesome music, you’ll be disappointed to hear that this post-hardcore Portland band is no more (still, for those of you looking to buy back catalogs, please immediately purchase Funeral Car). Meanwhile Cory Gray who played piano and voice is making new music as CarCrashLander. I’m not sold on it, but check out his label – Parks and Records – which bills itself as a “socially responsible indie label” and gives a percentage of every sale to non-profits. Also check out some CarCrashLander videos and audio available to stream from SnowGhostMusic, which in itself is an interesting site (kind of a regional Daytrotter).
